STAR MERCANTILE was selected as a Specialist Stone Agency to work on the Prestigious National War Memorial for which the civil work was executed by NCC. From inception to Delivery Star was interacting with the Ministry Of Defence, Principal Architects and General Contractors in Refining Design , suggesting finishes, Methods of installation , Breakthrough Technology for Carving and Engraving stone. Using materials as diverse as Jaisalmer Red Granite, Korana Pink Granite, Agra Red and Beige Sandstone a Worldclass Memorial was executed.

There are large walkways in stunning patterns, Carved Granite Benches, Granite Grating, Rajasthani Jaali work, Thick Copings, Mechanical Cladding and at the heart of it a Regal and Imposing Obelisk made to look like a monolithic monument with perfect edges and profiles encompassing the Eternal Flame. Using a combination of automatic CNC MACHINES, highly skilled artisans Star has paid homage to the 25942 martyrs with individual Tablets in Red Granite with gilded gold lettering engraved with special technology which are mounted on a tongue-groove system on curved walls. Executed in a record time of 8 months this Memorial is a legacy in Stone.
